Authenticity is something I’ve learned a lot about through my own journey. Back in junior high, everyone around me had their life paths all laid out: high school, university, good job, marriage, kids. It was the norm, the expectation. But deep down, I had this burning desire to learn English, to explore beyond the borders of Japan.

So, against the grain, I packed my bags and headed to the States, where I could only speak English. It was scary, sure, but it was also liberating. That’s where my love for languages blossomed, leading me to study Spanish. Despite my mom’s hopes for a different future, I lived life on my terms—I didn’t get married, I didn’t have kids.

Instead, I wanted to see the world. So, I made the bold move to immigrate to Canada, traveled through Latin America. I followed my heart, even when it meant stepping into the unknown. But I’ll be honest, not every decision was made with my intuition leading the way.

When I settled in Canada, I let practicality and logic guide me. I thought I needed to play it safe, find a stable job, and build a secure future. But as time passed, I realized I was living out of alignment with my true self. I felt stuck, unfulfilled.

It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that I truly understood the power of authenticity. I realized that living authentically isn’t just about pursuing dreams—it’s about honoring your innermost desires and trusting in your ability to create the life you want.

After reaching that turning point, I made a bold decision to leave my 9-5 job. I became a certified Success Principles trainer and transformational coach, dedicating myself to living an authentic life and helping others do the same.
